Swapneel attended Atlantic Dialogues as an Emerging Leader, joining a panel addressing global leadership at the United Nations, World Bank, and International Monetary Fund on barriers to literacy and on creating open spaces for nation-scale solution-building.
We delivered a 2-day workshop in Mongolia with the Nest Center for Journalism Innovation and Development on AI and social-listening tools for fact-checking, supported by DW Akademie. The partnership runs over the next 18 months.
We built a tool that accelerates narrative identification in conflict regions with artificial intelligence. Identifying misinformation or misleading narratives from radio data is a complicated, multi-stage process. Our retrieval augmented generation-based search system retrieves the most relevant transcripts to an input query by a user that may be an analyst. Our system not only produces an answer but also presents its context, and additionally links the relevant source files used to generate the answer. Using this system could reduce the time spent by the analyst from hours to minutes without compromising on the quality of output they produce.
